about Dr. Carl Matlock

Carl Matlock graduated from Butler University with a BS in Chemistry and Zoology in 1968 and from Indiana University Medical School with an MD degree in 1971. He lives near Mitchell, Indiana with his wife, Janet. They were married in 1970 and have three children. He reminisced about his years of practice in writing his series of medical stories. He also traveled in Israel and authored a two-book fictional series about Jesus of Nazareth and his times. When not spending time with his three children and five grandchildren, he enjoys fishing, farming, and reading. Below is a picture of the Matlock family when he first began practicing medicine.
